After great thought the one thing I decided on was that whatever it is I'll be doing as a career I will need somewhere to work from, and that's when my office came into the picture.
Luckily my dad already had an office but over the past few years it'd only really been collecting junk and dust, so he offered it to me, and my arty mind went to work. I decided to go for a 'classy' looking room that always looks clean and professional. High hopes considering I'm incredibly messy, but I think I've managed to pull it off. So here is my new office tour, enjoy!
This is by far my favourite thing in the room! It's a china hand that sticks out of the wall and I use it to hold my keys. I've positioned it right next to the door so the second you come in you get a quirky vibe from the room, kinda creepy but so cool! This was from Urban Outfitters.
The Left Shelf
I'm a massive film fanatic and anyone who knows me knows I get ADDICTED to certain films, so I had to put them in my office incase I ever needed a quick fix while I'm editing.
Film is the one thing I'd say I'm a bit obsessive over. I can literally watch my favourite films multiple
times a day, oops.
In the mix of my favourites is a lot of Wes Anderson and Richard Curtis. I'm also a huge Harry Potter lover, I am (unfortunately) one of those people who has heart spasms when hearing about a new HP film.
Being a photographer I constantly strive for inspiration and so collect these different photography/fashion books.
On the bottom shelf I have the latest copy of HUNGER magazine (the best magazine ever created), Killer Detail's fashion book and a Banksy book.
On the second shelf I have 20th Century photography and a book about Kate Moss.
My mum brought me the 20th Century photography book from a quaint little shop in Chester and the Kate Moss book was actually £3 from the works...
I've been lusting after the Kate Moss book by Mario Testino but as that's a hefty £50 I'll settle on the cheaper copy.
I also have the street photography book as a bit of travel photography inspiration.

This little candleholder was found a few years ago in the sale at homebase. I've had it in my room for ages and it was never being used so decided to give it some light and move it downstairs.
The card means a whole lot to me as it was given to me by my mum and the saying is just amazing, it says- 'Dream big little one, tomorrow you will move mountains' ahhhhh. It also has elephants on which are my all time favourite animal, you will see this reoccur pretty often.
The chair was actually already my dads so I don't know where it's from. The bigger grey and cream pillow was from the sale in homebase and the smaller 'Enjoy the little things in life for someday you will realise they were the big things' one was £5 from ASDA.

This tattooed man picture was again from Urban Outfitters and I just love it! It's on the wall just behind the chair and gives the room a real feel!
Next up is the mantlepiece. On here I've put two little house shaped photo frames and between them I've put a vintage looking clock.
I've so far failed to actually put any pictures in the frames because I'm far too lazy to print the correct size. I'm also too lazy to actually put batteries in the clock...
Also on the mantle piece is a string of battery powered LED fairy light's. These are super cheap on ebay and make anything look extra pretty and cosy.
Another thing I've stolen from my dad, his record player..and all his records. Thanks Dad!

My favourite's at the moment are The White Stripes, Florence and the Machine and the classic, Nina Simone.

The second shelf is a little bare but still has a few things on. This is where I've displayed a couple of my prettier cameras. There is also the little mouse in the baby basket which my mum made for me when I was a baby and it's too precious to sit in a box and collect dust!
The 'Home is where the heart is lamp' was from ASDA and I just
l-o-v-e it. I can't wait for christmas so it can add so much cosy-ness to the room!

The final few things are all on my desk. Oh what's that again, who'd have guessed I have an elephant light! This one is from Urban Outfitters and it is so so cute, it really brightens up the room! The clear jar for my pens was only £1 from Asda and makes the pens and pencils actually look inviting.
My Marilyn Monroe picture was brought from All Posters. I love it because it's a bit of a different picture of her and I find it very endearing. I have my holy grail book 'Fashion 101' by Lara Jade and my 'Great Ideas & Cunning Plans' notebook from Topshop.
Last but not least is my bible. A book of Rankin portraits. I could look through this book all day it's so beautiful. Annoyingly though when I flipped the first page to get a couple of example shots I found a huge dead house spider squashed between the pages.. it slightly decreased the beauty of the book.
